| How To Register | |
| Ways to register | |
|
There are two main ways you can register your interest in broadband.

|
| Registering with your ISP | |
| Each
ISP is different but if you go to their main site - for example
www.freeserve.com -
and search for 'broadband', you should find the details of how they take
registrations. Each of the ISPs pass on the details of the registrations that they receive to BT Wholesale, who will then add your registration to those they have received directly and from other ISPs. You can search for an ISP offering broadband by clicking here. |
|
| Pre-registering with BT | |
| If you are unsure
of who your current ISP is, are unable to find how to register with them,
or simply do not wish to tie yourself into a definite order yet, then
pre-registering with BT is the way to go. To register is just go to http://www.bt.com/btbroadband/register and fill in your details. Don't leave it up to someone else - if you want broadband, REGISTER TODAY! |

| Featured ADSL provider | |
|
If you're not sure who to sign up with, you
can do comparisons of the different providers on
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/isps/compare.asp. After deliberating the speed, reliability and costs, I (personally) decided to sign up with PlusNet. They are ranked joint 3rd overall at www.ispreview.co.uk/review, and get some fantastic customer reviews - click here to read them. Awarded the 'Best Buy' accolade by What PC? Magazine, PlusNet ADSL won a 5 star rating in every category to blow the competition away. And there's more! - Internet Made Easy Magazine (issue 35) awards ADSL from PlusNet the top position in their 'Hot Deals' Review. I went with their package for £24.99 a month with NO activation charge and FREE ADSL modem and splitters. If you want to sign up with PlusNet, just click on the banner below. |
